Giraffe doesn't do snow

It turns out that giraffes don't like the snow that much so Brad snuggled him in front of a cozy fire.

Our weekend with Giraffe

We were delighted to bring the class mascot, 'Giraffe' (the kids named him) home for the weekend. Brad read books to him, watched movies with him, colored with him, and snuggled with him for naps and bedtime. The really neat thing was that Brad got to sit on Santa's lap with giraffe at my mom's holiday kids party at Celestial Seasonings. The pictures are now in Giraffe's journal and Brad will share them with his buddies at school this week.

The Basement Rocks.

A few of our pals have asked us for some updated pictures of the basement from Heaven. We LOVE this place. The pic to the left is my 'wrapping station' - something I have been dreaming about for years. The picture below is the carpeted little play area. The other side is the 'parking lot' and 'big wheel track' where the kids can ride around. It has been a life saver on cold or super hot days. Rumor has it that Santa is bringing Brian a little bike and a scooter for Christmas - his little legs can't reach the petals on our trikes. Anyway, not fancy but lots of fun.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

The Willards are filled with Holiday cheer this Christmas season in our new home. We are SO happy to report that it is snowing here! We are like kids again trompsing around in the snow with our new boots and coats on. We are dreaming of a white Christmas...

The World's creapiest snowman!

We had a great time at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Mimi, Ryan, Rick and I, and the boys. The lights were gorgeous. The air was pretty darn cold. And I have to say, I didn't LOVE coming across this snowman at night in the dark. If you see him a a dark alley, run!
